do you rinse with water/laundry wash rash guard/swim shorts daily if kid go to camp

Kid wear it full day to the camp for outdoor play (sometimes in water splash, sometimes kicking ball, climb on playground, does art etc ) in them. Do you rinse them with water or laundry wash daily if kid go to camp? He goes to there for 5 days, does that mean I should get 2-3 sets at least?

I throw my kids' stuff in the quick wash cycle every day. The clothes/suits are covered in sunscreen, sweat and dirt. Worth washing IMO.

If you are on top of the washing, then you really don't need more than 1 or 2 sets...

op here. I only do laundry once a week because my kids have enough clothing for a whole week. I do 3 loads weekly (1 load for each kids and 1 load for us parents). I think I may just get extra sets of bathing suits.

I remember I hear somewhere say do not put bathing suit in the washing machine because it will weaken the fabric (uv block function), and it is better to be hand washed with soap? And hang dry, do not use dryers. Do I hear it wrong or right?

I mean, if you have time to hand wash and dry, yes they will last longer but I put all my kids suits through the wash (sometimes multiple times a week) and they seem fine to me. The suits last until they outgrow them.

I always ran the kids suits and towels every night and hang dried the suits to be ready to go in the morning. No one seemed worse the wear.

We usually only do laundry once a week but do it twice during the summer. I get three sets of swim clothes - they wear them M, Tu, W; I wash W night.

You just have to decide which is easier for you - to wash every day or spend extra on swim clothes.

Yes, every day.

I overheard a group of kids talking about how many times they pee'ed in the pool

Yes, there is chlorine, but ...

i would have more than one suit for a week of camp. if s kid goes to sleep away camp, do you think they are rinsing or washing in between wearings?

I hang them to dry after washing with a gentle detergent

I wash trunks and rash guard daily. If it gets too late for a full wash or our laundry room is full (we're in a condo), I just hand wash in the sink and roll into a towel to squeeze out water.

I wash them every day. We have probably 5 swim suits and rash guards per kid. Wash in cold, hang dry, and they are ready the next day or two, so you could get away with just 2 sets if you want. But swim suits are cheap and I prefer multiples in the summer.

Sending your kid to camp in worn clothes from the past day is just really nasty.

I hand wash the suits in water at night, and then machine wash them all over the weekend. We always had 3 sets.

I do quick hand wash in sink and drip dry. I only have one kid in swim but even for 2 kids or adults its no more work to add in an extra set of swim wear.

Handwash the swimsuit and rash guard daily when at camp. Hang to dry.

I don't put rashguards, jammers, or girls' bathing suits into the washing machine. I do put boys'/mens' trunks into the washer. All get hung to dry. They dry overnight.
