Charges 7% and constantly reminds you how hard realtors work. Makes you sign a representation contract where you owe a commission on all future properties bought and sold regardless of their participation

Those days are over! We just sold using a very fine agent with 1.5 percent.

Convinces you to buy a house that you hate, and to put in an escalating offer on it with no contingencies.

Sounds like that was your fault, not your agent's fault. Are you so easily swayed about such important decisions?

I have several clients looking in Arlington. I just targeted a mailer to houses of interest and bam. Got something.

LOL! This guy is a joke. Out of all the professions, I have found realtors to be the least working and educated but high in show-off. No-one can block you in using them for future properties. Ask him how many time he has been litigated on this contract in the past and you would know the answer.

The new commission to sell a house is a total of 4% and that covers for both the agents. This is very common in NoVA. I am in industry and see this all the time.

WTH, I have sold my condo of $150K in Dc for 4.5% and she could have done lower on a larger property.

People clearly missed the sarcasm in response to OP's overly vague question.

It just sounded like her and the "hundreds of listings no one else has." That shtick and your shtick are why we make fun of realtors

Ignoring the sarcastic responses, I sincerely think Betsy Twigg is fantastic.
