'21-22' DMV LACROSSE OUTLOOK

Can we also ban talk about MIAA unless directly related to playing a DMV team?

Only reason they are being mentioned is because they play a DMV team in reference to that team's schedule. Chill

Please keep the CT "country club" school lax talk to your own board. Could care less if they are playing a WCAC team. Pimp you Post Grad laden team elsewhere.

I can tolerate MIAA lax talk on here.....DMV outlook after all. Some of these MIAA kids at say Severn, St. Mary's or Spaulding could be from the area and not the B-No-More area.

Maybe they added in 2 - 4 mid-year transfers.

Son's best friend and club teammate boards there. There are 14 - 5 came since Christmas. Yes, all play lacrosse, but no, no one can say for sure if they will make varsity as tryouts don't start until next week.

I heard over the weekend, longtime former Georgetown Prep assistant coach, Mike Kubik will be coaching Landon's varsity this Spring. He coached my son at Prep in wrestling and lacrosse back in the day, and I must say, he is an excellent coach and better mentor off the field.

Great hire for Landon but does anyone know if he was approached by Prep to be on their staff? I know he has been at Mater Dei for a number of years now. Given the Landon-Prep rivalry over the past 3 decades, and Kubik was perceived as Giblins right-hand man, it does seem strange he is now over at rival Landon. Given all the work he put in to get Prep over the hump and to become the nationally recognized power they are today, I guess times have really changed.

Based on Bullis schedule it’s happening 4/14 & 4/19.

it's happening in May, the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend.

Top 3 teams from the IAC vs top 3 from the WCAC. #1 and #2 seeds get first-round byes.

Should be a great event!
