why does danni feel the need to brag about herself in every one of her FB posts? 'working mom' 'i got a TV deal' 'i signed a new contract with the kane show' etc. what a self-absorbed, arrogant woman.

It's funny because on the show they often mention people who post things like this on social media generally are having negative issues going on in their life, but want to project how great they are doing (Kane always saying to look at the background of pictures, etc). I certainly have or do not want any ill will on Danni, but the constant self promotion of herself does become tiresome. Yes, it is good to be happy for yourself, but the continual advertising of it, which has gone overboard recently it seems, really makes you wonder if she is bragging, miserable privately, or reverse trolling all the people who have said bad things about her.

Nonetheless, at this point, I can't imagine the TV thing to be any thing more than a major let down when they finally announce it. Even though they keep saying major TV network, I am resigned to believe it is a cable channel like Discovery or BET (an entity that has offices in the DC area). She said on Friday that the network told her that they were searching for 3 years to find the right host for this show, and they finally found her, which is why the project is moving forward. Hard to believe if they were really looking that it took 3 years, but you never know.

Even though I am not a fan of her personally, I hope she can find success and happiness and minimize the need to brag broadcast it so constantly to every one in the future.

Why are people still listening to the show?

We know the bits are fake.

We know that Kane threw his wife under the bus on air (and we suspect he was a controlling jerk obsessed with social media and his career).

We know that Danni is super annoying and publicly supports cheating (and suspect that might have led to the breakdown of her own marriage).

And we just don't care about IJ or the other girl.

So why bother listening? Please explain.

I have a FB 'friend' who recently got into a graduate school program (a decent program, sure but no ivy league or anything like that). Instead of simply posting that she got in or was excited, she added that she was 'speechless' because it was 'their most competitive year for admissions and this was the most competitive program". When I heard Danni say this, I immediately thought of this status. It makes you sound so insecure when you try to embellish your accomplishments like that. Make them speak for themselves. And with that being said, I highly suspect Danni's 'show' is nothing special.

I suspect the people that listen are either teenagers that don't know how fake 99% of the show is, or adults that find it "entertaining" despite the fakeness.

A few days ago, there was a post about STM and a format change at 107.3. This is the latest from DCRTV:

Most of the WRQX staff will be pink-slipped by Tuesday. Then music, then Jack Diamond Morning Show. Content to be piped in via Westwood One network, middays and nights. They will try this until early summer but it won't matter because the company will be in Bankruptcy at that point. (11/4/15)
