Pizza hut restaurants when they were popular. The pizza hut in courthouse arlington. The peoples drug in Rosslyn. The Tivoli in Rosslyn. The samurai restaurant in Georgetown. I'm still Jenny from the block. |

| When you could drive-up and park anywhere to watch the fireworks downtown (and DC was known as "downtown"). My dad would park our tiny compact car on some grassy section near the Tidal Basin and we all got out and walked to a good viewing spot. Never blinked an eye or thought twice. |

Don and Mike on WAVA and then WJFK. The original morning zoo with Janet from another Planet and Burnt Toast and Coffee Time with David Haines. Man do I miss D&M. The Greaseman on DC101 HFSestivals The Caps Centre Key Theater and there was a movie poster store right near there where I would buy posters for my room. When Urban Outfitters first opened up in Gtown and we thought it was so cool and hip like DC had hit the big time. Commander Salamander Tony Bennett sang at the reopening of Montgomery Mall when we gained a Nordstrom. Happened to be there shopping w/my family and he was performing lol Chevy Chase Bank (when I was kid, I always thought this was the "fancy" bank) Being able to take a tour of the WH by just getting in line outside and waiting for your turn to go in.
