| I grew up in western PA where places that serve fries & gravy are everywhere. I live in Alexandria and I have yet to see them on a restaurant menu in this area but I am craving them. Does anyone know where I can find some? |

This place in Arlington has poutine:

| In Alexandria and has poutine. https://www.bunpapa.com/ |
| Have you asked or searched on the Alexandria Curbside dining Facebook group? It’s huge and very active. A few suggestions I see from prior threads: Rustico, Virtue, Vola’s, and Jimmy’s. (No firsthand experience with fries and gravy but can vouch they’re all tasty.) |
| You mean Poutine? |
| Red Robin used to, haven’t been there in years to say if they still do. |
Poutine has cheese. Gravy and fries or disco fries, is without cheese. |
| No, not poutine. I have seen poutine on many local menus but it's not what I'm looking for. Sure, I guess I could ask for poutine without the cheese curds but I feel certain that is not going to be the same as what I'm looking for, which is fries and gravy that stand alone w/o the cheese. |

What kind iof gravy are you talking about? White, milk-based (not cheese-based) chicken gravy (i.e. southern gravy)? Light brown, broth based chicken gravy?
|
| The Stable in Columbia. You have to ask but they have white and brown gravy. |
| I need to know this too! There was a restaurant in Ellicott City in the 80's and 90's called Isella's that had the best fries with gravy. It was a soup bowl filled with thin crispy fries and the most flavorful brown gravy. My absolute favorite meal growing up was those fries with gravy as an appetizer and then the crab pizza. |
| I think if you go somewhere that has fries, and has mashed potatoes or meatloaf with gravy on their menu, like a diner, you can ask them to put gravy on your fries. |
| Vienna Inn |
Brown gravy. |
| There used to be a late night fry truck on u street. I bet they are still around and vending at lunchtime too. |
