His statement is confirmation that his entire time as super was about his career and not the students or the health of the system. |
Well, he didn't leave in the middle of the school year with the worst Covid cases like the other one who quit in January with no notice. WHo was that? Loudoun? |

He told the post last night that he's leaving to run his LLC. |
Yep, it’s gross. Good bye and good riddance to this egomaniac! |
His book keeps getting pushed back and the LLC that he says he's leaving to run doesn't even have a website. This doesn't sound like it's been in the works for as long as Alderton is claiming. |
This perfectly sums it up:
INCREDIBLE NEWS! @ACPSk12 Superintendent Hutchings is RESIGNING! He’s done great damage to @ACPSk12 in his short tenure, harmed thousands of kids (esp SPED kids), covered up assaults and an alleged rape, & divided the community. Now he’s off to make💰w/his new grifty LLC. https://twitter.com/JGunlock/status/1535281072820346880?cxt=HHwWgICz_YuAtc4qAAAA |
Thank goodness. |
That woman is insufferable. She can’t even take criticism from high schoolers. I am thrilled Hutchins is gone but please don’t share her nonsense. |
This is the guy who refused to open schools then moved his kid from closed public to an OPEN private school, right? |
Yes. |
No one is as insufferable as all the ACPS parents who have a knee jerk reaction to any criticism or suggestion re ACPS. They are the absolute WORST. |
This makes me so happy. I'm really hoping for some serious change with ACPS finally. It's long over due. |
Wahoo!!! The future is looking brighter for Alexandria's students all ready! |
Unless the school board finds someone interested in educating all children and not their own brand and personal agenda, we will continue down the same path we’ve been on all along. A public school district’s philosophy, mission, and reason for being should be to provide a high quality education for all children. Full stop. Anything else is a distraction. Anti-racism, safety issues, equity issues, all of those mean nothing if you fail to provide a high quality education for everyone. If you somehow managed to provide a high quality education for everyone, it’s because you’ve achieved equity in your schools. Equity isn’t a goal, it’s a means to an end. Safety in schools isn’t a goal, but if you don’t have it, how can you provide a high quality education for everyone when teachers, staff and children aren’t safe? I’m glad Hutchings is gone, but his biggest cheerleaders and enablers are still there. So I still feel pessimistic about the future of ACPS. |
