Looking for a home in NW DC, in the Cleveland Park / AUD / Cathedral Heights / Glover Park / Woodley park area. Moving to DC, so we're not familiar with which realtors best serve this area. We are hopeful to have access to homes not on the market yet - either coming soon homes or pocket / private listings up to $2 - $2.5 m. We would like to move in Aug 1, so probably need to move pretty quickly, so there's not much room for error with choosing a broker. Who would you use?
Thank you! |
Op here. that should be AU Park, not AUD. still getting up to speed on the neighborhoods.
|
| WFP is the mafia, I’d look closely to see if one of them appeals to you. |
| Look at Zillow reviews. |
| Marjorie Dick Stuart for parts of those areas. Look at recent sales/purchases. |
| Is there one neighborhood of those that you listed that you're especially interested in? |
Ha, why do you say that? |
| WFP is the Mafia is ridiculous comment. Best agency in MVA. |
| Compass is actually the best. |
| Nancy Taylor Bubes has cornered the Georgetown market |
A lot of exceptional agents have jumped ship to Compass. Our last RE transaction was with an agent from WFP and our Compass agent. Both were very good. |
| Compass repped the buyer of our CP home; it was clear that they were on the ball, got first showings, quick pre-inspection, etc. Certainly not being outmaneuvered by more plugged-in brokers. |
I do not recommend her. Trying to buy from her currently and I have many complaints. |
Person who recommended MDS - what are your complaints? We bought from her- she was a shark for her client - which I think is largely what you want. |
| That should say I am the person who recommended MDS. |
