Swap Turkey for Finland and Swden

Since Turkey is determined to block Finland and Sweden from joining NATO, at Putin's direction, could NATO eject Turkey? Which countries hold more strategic value to NATO?

Turkey controls the bosphorus. That seems very very important.

This. And Turkey has strategic importance for Black Sea, Mediterranean, Middle East, & Caucasus areas. There will be no swapping Turkey for Finland and Sweden.

Yup, that was my first thought. But how can the EU let in a country with 70% inflation and which is barely a democracy?

Turkey should be kicked out because of the Armenian genocide.

But not long ago most here were supportive of turkey wheb Trump called then out:

The Turks have been a threat to Europe for almost a thousand years. They sided with the central powers in WWI, invaded the Europe before that before being kicked out and stomped by the Winged Hussars from Poland, mass killings of Turks and Greeks, assisted the Germans in WWII…they have no business in Europe

Using that logic, US should be kicked out of NATO too for causing over 1 million deaths in Indonesia? Or due to the millions of deaths across Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and the ME?

Japan was an Axis power during WW2. Germany was an Axis power during WW2. Yet both are critical allies these days..

um, Russi has to go through several countries to invade Turkey, Finland is next door
