I have more potatoes that I know what to do with and I would like to use them up. I also have ground beef, onions and peas. Can I make a shepherds pie with that?
Or, do you have a recipe that uses a lot of potatoes, a lot of onions and it’s tasty. |

This soup is really good. You can leave out the achiote, it doesn't really add to the taste. |
Shepherd's pie is made with lamb. You could make a cottage pie. Or you could make a quick potato gratin. I like Nigella's recipe. It freezes and reheats well. Or an Irish potato soup? Or potato pancakes, which also freeze well. |

OP back and I appreciate the suggestions! I have all of the ingredients for the Ecuadorian soup, even the achiote.
And I have so many potatoes that I could probably still make the cottage pie, the potato gratin and Irish soup too. Thanks, PPs! |
| The Smitten Kitchen Greek Lemon Potatoes recipe. Delicious. |
| Potato soup. Julia Child’s recipe is so simple and amazing. Calls for leeks or yellow onions. |
