Recommend shepherd‘s pie recipe or a use for lots of potatoes

I have more potatoes that I know what to do with and I would like to use them up. I also have ground beef, onions and peas. Can I make a shepherds pie with that?

Or, do you have a recipe that uses a lot of potatoes, a lot of onions and it’s tasty.

This soup is really good. You can leave out the achiote, it doesn't really add to the taste.

Shepherd's pie is made with lamb. You could make a cottage pie.

Or you could make a quick potato gratin. I like Nigella's recipe. It freezes and reheats well.

Or an Irish potato soup? Or potato pancakes, which also freeze well.

OP back and I appreciate the suggestions! I have all of the ingredients for the Ecuadorian soup, even the achiote.

And I have so many potatoes that I could probably still make the cottage pie, the potato gratin and Irish soup too. Thanks, PPs!

The Smitten Kitchen Greek Lemon Potatoes recipe. Delicious.

Potato soup. Julia Child’s recipe is so simple and amazing. Calls for leeks or yellow onions.
