We have a Krups stainless steel one. We drink a lot of tea so it gets used multiple times a day.

I have a Russell Hobbs stainless steel, it’s the most used small appliance I own.

Instant Pot Zen tea kettle. Love it!

I use the Wirecutter recommendation: the Cuisinart electric kettle. The best part is you can set the temperature for your tea, or if you’re making pour over and need 200 degrees, or if you just want boiling.

The Russell Hobbs has this too. Don’t the others?

I have this in my office and it looks great. I’ve had it about 6 months and use it multiple times a day during the week. It is too loud to heat water when on a conference call (if I can’t stay muted for several minutes) but that’s not too big a deal. It has a small capacity, which is what I wanted. It has leaked from the seam near the base twice - not consecutively - and I haven’t figured out why but I suspect it might be because I overfilled it.

If you want something inexpensive and small that looks good, it’s a good product. But if you have more space or want something higher end, there are much better options.

Went through two of these in one year. They don't last. I know others with the same experience

Our Krups one has lasted for several years with use multiple times/day.

I have used this one for six years now. Boils water super fast. Outside stays cool to touch. Use it six or seven times a day:

We have this and it works ok, but after two years of daily use it's getting twitchy. Sometimes you have to reseat it on the bottom several times to get it to heat. The biggest drawback is that the kettle is not insulated, so if you accidentally touch anything but the handle, it will burn you.

This is what I use. Daily use, had it two months, no issues. I can set it on my quartz and no problems.
