| Hosting DD’s friends to get ready for prom and want make some fun appetizers that teens will like. Any suggestions or great recipes? Thinking nachos or guacamole, maybe mini pizzas? Anything else? |
| Not sure it's fun but a spinach/artichoke dip with crackers or baguette is always a crowd pleaser. |
Way too messy. The biggest question is: Do you need to seve appetizers?? Nobody will want to eat - with their make up in perfect condition and feeling excited and nervous and nit risk spilling something on their attire I really don't think appetizers will be on their minds. Take pictures and send them on their way. They can order apps at the restaurant if they want. |
| Little frozen quiches from Trader Joe’s. No big deal to make. Seem fancy to the young. Not messy. Good protein to keep them from being hangry. |

Think about how crushed the girls will be if they get ketchup or guac on their dress.
I'd go for really simple, solid, non-oily or stain-ey stuff. |
I agree - if you need to do more Trader Joes also has Spanakopita and a few other finger foods that typically do not fall apart |

Fondue. Kids love fondue! It is easy to prep and serve. I would probably do cheese fondue with bread chunks and fruit but you could do chocolate and fruit.
Mini sliders. The boys will devour them. I would do something easy like bbq pork sliders. Other items: little pizza squares, mini quiches, pigs in a blanket (everyone loves these), miniature meatballs, crudité, fruit and cheese platter, cookies. |
Nachos and guacamole are too messy. Get a tray of Chik Fil A nuggets. Maybe some pigs in blankets. A fruit and veggie tray. |
| Man this thread is full of gender stereotypes. |
| Thanks, they are getting ready here, so it is for them to have before they get the dresses on. Dinner will be late. |
| 😂 Don’t forget spaghetti, corn on the cob, and a pie eating contest. |
Got it OP. Makes sense. Have you asked your DD? Depending upon what else you are serving, I am always a fan of cheese and crackers. Simple and doesn't get cold. |

Wiener wraps. I don’t care for the frozen ones so I would opt for crescent roll and wieners (not the sausages in the can).

LOL what a bright idea. Man this thread is a dumpster fire of unhelpful replies. OP are you looking to get like frozen apps to heat up at home or to order platters? |
