Good high schools with STEM program

Can we perhaps make a list of good high schools in the area, any county, public and private, magnet, governor school. I’d like to know the options. We are looking to move in the future and high school is very important to us. Thank you

Montgomery county public schools (MCPS). Plenty of options

No to private. We are at a private that is supposed to be one of the top in DC for being strong in stem and it is not. In fact, robotics club was listed but was not in place and was dismissively told I would have to find one myself. Apart from that, I would not suggest privates to be strong in that area.

Can you please be more specific? What about Poolesville High School? I know it’s a magnet, but if you are zoned for the school (live in the area), can the kid go to the same program?

Why does a kid need “a stem focused high school”?
