It's decision time and many are considering the merits of in-state vs merit vs full pay options.
Which school would you NOT pay full price for? My list: Northeastern U Miami George Washington Any liberal arts college out of the Top 10 |

any of them at this point
it is insane that college costs as much as it does |
| Why would you even post this? It’s rude and obnoxious. Don’t you have a class now? |
+1. Not MIT, Harvard or Stanford. |
| all of them. |
| Occidental College |
| All of them, but this same thread will be 90k in a few years. Pretty soon we'll be crossing the 100k threshold and 80k will seem like a bargain. |

No college is worth $80k.
I went to Harvard and it was free. Even Harvard is not worth $80k. |
| We are paying full pay for one of those listed but I have more money than I know what to do with and my kid is happy so whatever. |

+1000. None of these schools are worth it for an undergrad degree. |
| If you cannot afford it stick with CC + state schools or join the military + have the feds pay for it. |
| My autistic child is going to go to a school that I'm sure you think isn't worth it. But she needs a small school with strong disability services to thrive and paying for that is worth it to me. But your fancy school clearly didn't teach you that everyone is different. |
As long as your kid is happy that's what matters. |
| It depends. If I’m a multimillionaire, I’ll pay any amount for any college. In my current situation, no college is worth $80K. |
