Republicans' conception of the Biden family never ceases to amaze me. Joe is senile, but deftly uses his influence to secretly enrich himself. Hunter is a screwup drug addict, but also masterfully orchestrates business deals under the radar. He has a lot to hide, but also doesn't mind opening himself up to discovery. Weird!

Joe's cognitive ability has deteriorated in the past 6 years. A lot.
I can't wait to hear about Hunter's business deals. It seems as if the million dollars in China funds distributed by Rob Walker, Hunter's associate, to 4 members of the Biden family was not used for ANY business deals. Time will tell.

And, his lawsuit is a joke. The shop keeper has the receipt that Hunter signed that said abandoned laptops would become property of the store owner 90 days after repair if the customer defaulted on the contract.
The shopkeeper tried repeatedly to contact Hunter by email and by phone to no avail.

Sure! The shopkeeper tried to contact hunter by email and phone. This was after the shop keeper(John Paul Mac Isaac) thought it was a good idea to take his customers laptop, break encryption and distribute the information on the laptop for profit. Isaac is a maga, right wing nut job who can not hold a job. Wonder how many people bring their laptop to John Isaac? Wonder how many credit cards and personal info this creep takes from his customers. Isaac is a criminal. If you have an unclaimed laptop you wipe it and resell it.

People who have looked at the laptops provided by Isaac say it is fake. Rudy Giuliani had the laptops in his possession for months. No one believes anything he says. He’s a known liar and a grifter. Look at the whole “stolen election” thing.

Why are you not going after trump’s family business dealing while he was president? There are plenty of real receipts there. Do you have any shame?

Those are all fake news part of the right wing media grifters. Same people who pushed the stolen election lie. You will have to prove something in a court of law not on Twitter. Even the FBI who supported you all on J6 will not touch the fake laptops. It is time to focus on Jared Kushner.

LOL.
This post equates to putting your fingers in your ears and singing "La la la la la."

From the article you cite:
"Some other versions of the laptop data circulated later appeared to have had data added after April 2019, a sign they could have been tampered with, according to reports in other media outlets, including The Washington Post."

This. Files were altered, files were added, and in particular, some of the "smoking gun" files show clear signs of being forgeries, for example pdfs of emails purporting to be from gmail that show pixellated and misplaced gmail logos in addition to the sketchy timestamps.

Chain of custody on the laptops/drives is completely tainted because they changed hands so many times before "coming to light." Any attorney will tell you there's no way they would stand up to scrutiny in a court of law.

The FBI has the original laptop.
Isn't it interesting that all the files and photos and videos and audio that has been released has not been disputed. By anyone.

In fact, people who were recipients of the emails released have actually confirmed their authenticity.

I also find it interesting that - regarding the quote you have pulled above - the article fails to specify WHICH files appear to be added. Likely because those don't exist.

See the post above. Sure, there was "confirmation" from recipients for some completely mundane emails showing absolutely nothing illegal or controversial. Those confirmed emails prove absolutely no wrongdoing.

The only emails that even hint at anything illegal or controversial were in a separate batch, and consisted of either emails purporting to be between Biden and Bobulinski, which hand under their own severe credibility problem ("confirmed" via photos taken of a cracked blackberry connected to a Russian cellphone provider showing screenshots from an iPhone) or others such as the pdf's of emails which had questionable metadata and showed clear signs of being clumsy forgeries (pixellated and misplaced gmail icons etc). Let's also not forget that Bobulinsi was at that very time facing legal issues over fraud and mysteriously came up with $600k from someone to pay off the fines. So may still-unanswered questions around Bobulinski.

Data from a laptop that the lawyer for a Delaware computer repair shop owner says was left by Hunter B**** in 2019 – and which the shop owner later provided to the FBI under subpoena – shows no evidence of tampering or fabrication, according to an independent review commissioned by CBS News.

Brian Della Rocca, the lawyer for the shop owner, provided to CBS News what he called an "exact copy" of the laptop data provided to federal investigators nearly three years ago. Della Rocca said he considers it "clean" because it predates versions that were widely circulated by Republican operatives to attack then-candidate Joe Biden before the 2020 presidential election.

The independent analysis, by two cyber investigators from Minneapolis-based Computer Forensics Services, found no evidence that the user data had been modified, fabricated or tampered with. Nor did it find any new files originating after April 2019, when store records indicate Biden dropped it off for repair.

Some other versions of the laptop data circulated later appeared to have had data added after April 2019, a sign they could have been tampered with, according to reports in other media outlets, including The Washington Post.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hunter-b****-laptop-data-analysis/

All of the images and content printed in the NY Post are authentic.
Of course versions circulated will have crap added - there are always leftwing activists who will work to discredit the laptop. But, as you can see, even CBS has deemed the contents authentic.

Contents of ONE image. It DOES NOT say the drive image they analyzed was the same as what the NY Post touted. And as we know, and as referenced by the article, there WERE drive images flying around and being touted by right wing pundits that DID show signs of alternation.

Also, remember that a number of other things that were claimed have NOT held up to scrutiny, for example $5 million to Biden's brother James or "10 for the Big Guy" - the financial data clearly reflects that no such transactions ever took place.

So that's where things stand - there are some drive images and some information touted as having come from them which have now been proven to be categorically false, and there are some other drive images which only go as far back as the computer shop and we don't know what if anything happened when it was in possession of the computer shop owner either. So either way there is still a chain of custody issue.

I realize this is small potatoes comparatively, but it is still a lot of money to most people. Especially a school counselor.

She didn’t even attend college (or at least didn’t finish).

So now we look down on people who don't have college degrees?
And why should we care about her, anyhow? She isn't running for office.

No, but she comes from a wealthy family herself and has a job most people wouldn’t be able to get without a degree (often, two degrees). Affording college wouldn’t have been an issue. Just odd for someone from her background.

We don't know yet.;; given that they have only 1 bank's records thus far. Who knows what we are yet to discover.

Details on the money that was dispersed......

https://nypost.com/2023/03/17/where-the-money-went-the-bidens-and-biden-associates-that-received-chinese-cash/

Annnnd sooooo?

Still no evidence of anything illegal.

Not to mention, these are ludicrously small amounts of money compared to Trump grift that went into the billions.

The investigation is just beginning......

Tell me.... what "skills" does Hallie Biden have to warrant a $25,000 payment from the Chinese?
I realize this is small potatoes comparatively, but it is still a lot of money to most people. Especially a school counselor.

She doesn’t need any skills. They got these payments because they had an ownership interest in a JV.

And, what was that "joint venture?"

It was supposed to be with CEFC, which is a Chinese energy company. It apparently never came to fruition and this was a return of their investments. This has been known for years. There was a senate report about it years ago and lots of media articles.

It's all in the thread.
The benefits of natural immunity, the side effects suffered by the vaccine, the prevalence of breakthrough infections..... and more.

Go easy on them. They are frightened and angry about being lied to.

Pretty sure this crap has already been addressed.

Natural immunity COMES AT THE SIGNIFICANT COST of having to first get sick with COVID. Which means, at a bare minimum, an unscheduled sick leave of a week or more. It could also mean more serious illness lasting longer, as it did for millions of Americans. It could also mean ONGOING debilitating Long COVID health issues lasting months, even years. Tens of millions are suffering from this. It could also mean DEATH, as was the case for over 1.1 million Americans.

As opposed to taking a few minutes to get a vaccine and never getting sick. We got ours while shopping at Costco and nobody in our family ever got COVID.

As for "vaccine injuries" that is also grossly, ludicrously overstated. There were never wards full of covid injuries, there was NO surge in excess mortalities when millions and millions of doses were being administered.

And this is yet another well known example of how Russia and China spread disinformation about COVID.

I am sure they won't find anything.

We can laugh at them while they do that.

Huh. Where do you think the money was coming from for H’s children to go to Sidwell & Penn? For him to pay millions in a settlement to his fourth child?

Are you all aware that Grassley and Johnson already did a multi-year investigation of all this stuff? They already got all these banking records. None of what Comer released is new. They even wrote a report about it and then dramatically sent their evidence to the US Attorney in Delaware. But it was a whole bunch of nothing. And the Trump-appointed US Attorney in Delaware has had the Hunter case for at least 4 years now, and he undoubtedly has every bank record and more. And he has charged nada. There's nothing there guys.

You're delusional. The overwhelming majority of hospitalizations et cetera were the UN-vaccinated.
And no, the numbers weren't "highly exaggerated" - excess mortalities tracked known covid numbers.

It's also a known fact that once the home test kits came out a lot of people just stayed home and rode it out rather than going to the hospital meaning there were a lot of unreported, unrecorded cases of covid as well.

Do you know what the excess mortality figures DIDN'T align with? Vaccination campaigns. There weren't any meaningful numbers of excess mortalities associated with the vaccines.

Curious as to why this warranted a surprise visit to his home.
Taxpayers are generally notified by letter of such things.

An IRS agent stopped by the home of Twitter Files journalist Matt Taibbi the same day of his congressional testimony on the weaponization of the government, according to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, who’s demanding an explanation over the oddly timed visit.

Jordan sent a letter to IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel and the Department of Treasury on Monday in hopes of getting to the bottom of why the federal agent appeared at Taibbi’s New Jersey home on March 9 and left a note, according to an editorial in The Wall Street Journal that cited the letter.

The note reportedly instructed Taibbi to call the IRS four days later.

When he did, an agent told him his 2018 and 2021 tax returns had both been rejected due to identity theft concerns.

Taibbi has been deeply involved in researching and reporting the Twitter Files — based off a trove of internal documents at the social media giant meant to expose unfair bias in the company’s past content moderation and the social media giant’s previous contact with government officials.

Taibbi gave the committee documents that indicate his 2018 return had been electronically accepted and the IRS never told him or his accountants there was an issue with it over the last 4¹/₂ years, according to the Journal.

His 2021 return was at first rejected, and then rejected again after he refiled, despite his accountants refiling with an IRS-provided PIN number, he said.

Taibbi said in neither case was it a money issue, and that the IRS actually owed him a “considerable” sum, the Journal said.

Because the left has wanted weaponization of the IRS since Obama.
