I am betting that many people who believe Ngo's reporting also believe that the virus originated from a lab in China and have believed that from the start.
And, we know how that story has evolved.

Mr. And Comma, do you ever log off of this site?

Well, sometimes.

Well, honestly, good for you. There’s no need to live here.

I’m not thrilled with the Wuhan analogy, as one is a theory not yet proven and regardless of what the right wing contends, few centrists and progressives believe in what the Chinese government claims on a good day. The other is the widely, widely discredited Andy Ngo, who has an entire section devoted to his credibility on his wiki, apart from his controversies. Don’t fall for liars, PP. It just leads to heartbreak.

Lots of allegations on wiki, but no facts, and still no addressing that acts of violence are shown on the videos.

It is a fact that his credibility is in doubt, thus the surfeit of links in that entry to sources like the Columbia Journalism Review describing NGO’s lack of credibility.

You’re folding two separate things into one statement. Which video or videos are you trying to drag into credibility by claiming my lack of addressing whichever snippet somehow magically adds to the credibility of that video?

I dislike dishonest argument, and that’s why when I see your inimitable style in your posts, I know I’m in for a doozy. But you could try to fashion an argument that isn’t just a dump truck of “nuh uh.”

“Narrative?” All one has to do is watch coverage of the riots from plenty of other sources to see exactly what’s going on and who is causing criminal mayhem. Curious why you dislike the idea of antifa/anarchist scum being exposed? Apparently you’d prefer these thugs to get away with their crimes. Good to know where you stand.

He shows up to document the rioters/anarchists. This infuriates them and they turn their violence on him. Perhaps that’s what the idiot PPs meant. At any rate, it’s telling that not one of them has actually produced a link of Ngo “conspiring” with Proud Boys. Or anyone, for that matter. These loons are riot and antifa apologists.

Yet Andy Ngo has NEVER "documented" his right wing Proud Boys / Patriot Prayer buddies for any of the numerous times that they engaged in violence. And that matters.

Ngo is not a journalist. He is a partisan propagandist.

And YES, PP there IS plenty of evidence of NGO palling around with Proud Boys while Proud Boys were planning violence. https://www.salon.com/2019/08/28/right-wing-journalist-andy-ngo-outed-video-shows-him-hanging-out-with-far-right-hate-group/

“Many on the right rallied around Ngo after that altercation, and spread false rumors that the milkshakes thrown at him and others had contained quick-dry cement. “

At one point, people in the crowd threw eggs and milkshakes at Portland police officers. Some milkshakes that were thrown may have contained “a substance similar to quick-drying cement,” police said. They also asked for people who witnessed violent assaults to email them. Protesters were also seen using bear and pepper spray.

Police said three of the injured people received medical care at area hospitals. Among the people injured over the course of the afternoon was Andy Ngo, the conservative writer who appeared to be attacked by antifa members.

I debunked your crap Salon article straight from the beginning.

Also, Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys are two separate groups. Patriot Prayer and antifa often square off in Oregon, and guess what? Patriot Prayer doesn’t attack Andy Ngo. He covers events they all attend. Patriot Prayer and Andy Ngo can act like human beings and not attack each other in a public space. That doesn’t mean Andy Ngo is a right wing “snitch.” He’s a gay atheist, not exactly right wing material.

Bullshit. You debunked nothing. Andy Ngo hangs out with Proud Boys. That's a fact. He has never reported on their violence, nor Patriot Prayer's violence, even when he's been in the midst of it. His reporting is ENTIRELY one sided, targeting Antifa and making them out to be the only ones engaging in violence when that is absolutely not the case. That's also a fact.

Also, the "concrete milkshake" stories were debunked and disproven yet the right wing kept on pushing the lie to the point of them becoming a full blown meme. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2019/07/how-a-dubious-claim-of-cement-milkshakes-in-portland-became-a-right-wing-meme/

Act like human beings? No. Patriot Prayer has attacked random people on the street, claiming they were "Antifa" - but Proud Boys are even worse in that department. The last two times the Proud Boys came to DC there was violence, after weeks and months of peace even with a 24x7 BLM presence at the fence by Lafayette Square. Proud Boys came and attacked everyone they saw, vandalized two historic black churches, tore down signs and banners and burned them. Yet NEVER a word about things like that from Andy Ngo... because like I said he is a PROPAGANDIST.

Andy Ngo reports primarily from the west coast - Portland and sometimes Seattle.

Yeah? So? He has been right in the midst of violence being committed by both Proud Boys and Patriot Prayer yet somehow hasn't reported on it. Why is that? It's because he is NOT a journalist. He is a PROPAGANDIST.

If he were truly a journalist, he would be "exposing" Proud Boys and Patriot Prayer and other violent right wing extremist groups with the same fervor that he has for "Antifa."

Except a police Lt who was there, saw it, and has experience with it said it was.

You’re so dramatic and inflammatory. Really strange behavior.

If all this was at the level of importance and significance you’re trying to give it (more more more posts, eh?), other venues accessible to adults raising families and working full time jobs and thus not hip deep in Twitter all day, would cover it.

DP. It’s amazing the lies you continue to spew. I watched this entire (ridiculous) video, waiting for shocking scenes of Ngo “palling around” with Proud Boys. He’s walking on the periphery of their group the entire time, looking at his phone, waiting to document the moment when this group encounters antifa. He says basically nothing the entire time. He’s clearly there as an outsider, for the purpose of documenting these encounters.

The dishonesty from people like you only make the left look even worse than they are - an astounding feat, to be sure.

Show me instances where Andy Ngo has documented Proud Boys or Patriot Prayer violence.

DP. Why should he have to? Do journalists or others documenting Proud Boys also document antifa? Nope.

Why do they want to destroy our country? They aren't fighting for anything they believe in. They just want to bring down everything.

They have been trying to bring the country down on multiple fronts for decades. They have wanted to call a Constitutional Convention, they have installed judges friendly to their whackjob theories at all levels of our judiciary, they have worked with foreign countries to weaken the US, they basically own the corporate media (and have convinced people that the corporate media is somehow leftist, despite zero evidence), they have destabilized cities as best as they can (umbrella man was the tip of the iceberg).

They think they can re-make this country into a fascist white supremacist nation in which brown men are second class citizens or slaves and women aren’t citizens at all.

And the cons on this thread applaud it all.

You’re like that person who thinks that a Black person being mean to you is the same thing as systemic oppression for centuries.
