Is Tufts underrated?

DC was accepted to and liked Tufts very much. However we didn't qualify for FA and no merit awarded. Not worth it at full price (not engineering major).

Tufts is less known in the DMV area. It is very well known and valued in the Northeast. And in terms of price, there are plenty of full-pay people around who can choose ED and be done, and there are plenty of people on this thread who can’t pay full and need their state flagship as an option. People on all sides is what makes, or doesn’t make, this process. If you are limited in options, then you tend to validate your own situation by putting down others’. I can name plenty of schools that fit in this category of overvalued by DCUM standards. Medical school, veterinary school, engineering, school of nutrition, the Fletcher school, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, all superb and “undervalued” here.
