I had no idea Princess Diana's ancestor was an American woman. Princess Diana's American great great grandmother, Frances Ellen Work (October 27, 1857 – January 26, 1947) was an American heiress and socialite. That makes the future king of England part American. I also didn't know Winston Churchill's mother was American. I just watched a documentary about these 200 American heiresses who married English men with titles. The English needed the American money to keep up their estates. That doesn't surprise me.

No, he is not 'part American'. "American" is a nationality, not an ethnicity/race. There is nothing 'American' about the BRF

That American woman is more likely than not, of British ancestry. So what comes around, goes around.

I can’t believe I used to like Kate. She’s a loser and a mean girl. I get that Meghan is awful but very few people seem to like their sister in laws. (I personally have none). So to refused to acknowledge her at Commonwealth day is ridiculous. No wonder she has no friends other than her mommy.

Sure you used to like Kate. Meghan has earned the scorn and then some. William must be feeling pretty smug that he was right all along. Harry has never been more miserable and unhappy. I believe this almost as much as the people who start sentences off "I used to like Meghan but....." that's the exact same BS you're trying to pull off.

She had quite the colorful life and a seemingly nasty divorce from her British husband.

She is also the great-great-grandmother of the actor Oliver Platt. Wacky.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Also William was at least cordial to Meghan whether he was feeling smug or not.

Have you not seen the famous scarfing incident? We have no idea what happened behind closed doors but that Harry and meghan got kicked out suggests it was probably pretty bad between all parties.

That American heiress was not accepted in New York society during her time. She was new money. She married English for the title. He married her for her money.

My point is if you did an ancestry dna analysis it would still come back all British isles or something similar. Americans are all from somewhere else. So there is no American dna in the American’s descendants so its a moot point.
