I think what you're discovering that it is very child and parent dependent!

I think almost everyone will agree you don't need a bottle or wipe warmer

This changed when I had a Csection. (First baby vaginal. Second and third CS)

We did it on the floor-never for the need for anything else if you didn't have a csection.

BabyBjorn bouncer. So expensive compared to others that are basically the same. I found out the hard way with kid #2.

I wouldn't say annoyed, but it always makes me roll my eyes when someone makes a judgmental comment about sleep associations to someone who nurses or rocks their child to sleep, and then talks about how their kid sleeps alone in a crib, with black out shades, and a white noise machine, and a swaddle.

I don't judge you if you use them, but I do judge you if you think that somehow your technology dependent kid is superior to my mommy dependent one.

(I loved the momaroo because I felt it didn't hold the baby's head in one place=flat head, ergo for big babies, baby bjorn carrier for infants, and bjorn bouncer my kids were soo happy in it, and the baby food cooker was so nice when I was working and could make baby dinner and spend time with him at the same time.)

I've never had a c-section. I totally get why on the floor would be hard with one, but why would standing in front of a dresser, changing a diaper be harder than standing in front of a changing table if you've had one?

(I'm not asking because I think you're wrong, I'm just reading this thread because I'm thinking about gifts for a close relative who is expecting)
