What is your worst parenting moment ever?

9month old ds could not really crawl and didn’t scoot much either. He was playing with some toys on the floor in the living room, while I ran upstairs to go to the bathroom, ended up being a little longer that I thought, but left the door open so I could hear. When I come downstairs, he is literally eating the poison for the ant traps,

Honestly… I let my kid watch a lot of TV so I can zone out. And I know it’s not good for her she is like a total zombie for the idiot box. We do tons of other stuff but a few times a week she gets more than two or three hours out of the tube.

Give me a break! I would absolutely keep a closer eye on a homeless man openly drinking (which is illegal) next to a playground. Mental illness is much more prevalent in homeless people. This is common sense.


Mental illness doesn’t make you violent. (Not blaming OP, whose post I found inoffensive. Responding to PP.)
