thr county population has grown so illassume its from mostly illegals coming here. Anyone who is from here notices a huge difference

I don't really get that at all.

The Catholic Church faced some major backlash over the priest scandals. So many Catholics left the church.
After any mass shooting, there are major calls to ban guns.

Not sure where you get the impression that people only respond negatively to illegal immigration.

Both.

We have been at our MCPS ES for the past decade, with 3 kids. And, have seen it change.

Several neighbors have left for Howard or Frederick or Loudon County.

And, there has also been a huge influx of illegal immigrants into our neighborhood. At our schools, I'd say it's not exactly half illegal immigrant families, but definitely more than 25%. We're at a lower-income, nonW school, FWIW. It has definitely had a negative impact on the school, and we've watched it change first-hand.

MoCo is very welcoming to illegal immigrants, so the community has grown. Also, FTR, we have illegal immigrants from all over. Definitely not just Mexico and South America. The lady who works at the Subway in our neighborhood is an illegal immigrant from South Asia.

What’s the mentality illegals have? When I’m abroad I take extra precautions to not break any laws even though I don’t make it s habit to break laws. I’ve lived abroad and wouldn’t even drive after one drink just to be safe . Yet illegals come here and rape and steal, drive drunk etc like they have no fear of repercussions

In MoCo, the mentality is that you've already broken the law, and gotten away with it. So, why can't you break other laws? You can work for cash. You can live in illegal apartments.

Plus, the mentality also seems to be that you should be rewarded for being here illegally. Make sure you make the most of the opportunity - get the free health benefits, free education, free backpacks, free meals. The communities of illegal immigrants are very strong and they learn very quickly how to take advantage of all that MoCo has to offer. That's why they come here in droves.

Currently MoCo politicians have explicitly stated that County Officials do NOT have to cooperate with ICE. How can we deport criminals if that is the policy?
