Would you buy a home someone was murdered in?

costs money....

I am a survivor of homocide so tried to look up my address but I"m not paying 11.99 to see if it's public record.

Do you mean attempted homicide? Or did you get murdered and are now a ghost?

That's the one. Changing the address, will not change the history of the property, I'm afraid. Curious why the current owner is selling. Also superstitious?

I read the thread twice but I don’t see the story of this house. Fill me in!

It sounds like someone tried to turn them gay.

This post was wrong:

6708 Dean Drive, McLean, VA 22101 – Helen L. Hargan fatally shot her mother, Pamela D. Hansen Hargan, then committed suicide here

Another sister (Megan Hargan) did it and tried to make it look like murder suicide.

Yes, if the owners killed a violent intruder.
Murder or suicide probably no. Unless the price is really sweet.

This person still lives in those house apparently. When he moves I’m sure it will be sold as a teardown - problem solved.
I was surprised to learn that this had happened in my Bethesda neighborhood just a few streets over from mine - on Wyngate Dr.

Here’s a better article. The son definitely killed mom. He’s back out living in the world again.

This depends on the jurisdiction. I'm not sure if MD, DC, or VA have this legal requirement.
