The White Power symbol isn't the same. It's similar to the 'OK' sign with the index finger and thumb touching, but the remaining fingers are deliberately splayed out to represent a 'W' with the index finger, thumb and forearm representing the 'P' spelling out the initials for White Power.

And "this kid" was specifically working for Stephen Miller who has many strong ties to white supremacists like Richard Spencer, who, along with the alt-right movement on 4chan were actively promoting that hand sign.

This. Showing other people mid gesture is NOT the same as someone posing for a picture flashing the WP sign. Just because you guys haven’t heard about it doesn’t mean it’s not real. My redneck/skin head cousin has been doing this gesture for many years. It’s sickening. I’m biracial (black/white).

Exactly.

It was all about the context. Even if "this kid" didn't really mean anything by the gesture it still looks terrible given his co-workers and Trump's history with "very fine people".

You sound eerily similar to a Tea Party lunatic calling Obama a Kenyan Muslim due to "bowing" or whatever it was that brought about that conspiracy theory.

PP with skinhead cousin. I’m sitting here telling you that many skinheads/Nazis have been using this for years. It’s not a consipsracy therory. Why don’t you believe what white power people are actually telling you? Whoever is showing these pics of Steph Curry setting up a basketball play really doesn’t get it.

When have you people denying this actually seen anyone actually pose with the okay sign for a photo? Not someone making gesture mid-speech or talk, but actually pose for a photograph using that gesture.

This. When Neo-Nazis are Jewish Conservative kids and Homophobic Racists are white, gay Republicans who are married to a black gay man, people are going to ignore your silly claims.

Read the thread. The claim is the sign is used by Neo-Nazis.

Yes, please, people, someone answer this. Have you seen people pose with that gesture rather than make it mid-speak or while talking?

And it's bizarre the way he's doing it - it's not a natural "okay" sign. Look at how his fingers are splayed rather than rounded the way one would more naturally do an okay sign.

And why would you pose like that after your boss, the president, told you to make the thumbs up, which everyone else is doing?

Finally, do you deny the alt-right has been adopting a gesture that looks just like what the intern did, and using only the right hand?

I'll wait for answers.

Ah ha! BINGO. He’s white, a man, works for the Trump Administration and tries to change policy that represents the will of the voters! You cracked this case wide open, Clousseau!

I have also noticed a great number of people in the photo with hitch-hiker thumbs. You know what that means? Those people have quicker reflexes with video games. It is true bc I know a few people with hit hhiker thumbs who are amazing gamers. Take it to the bank.

Anonymous wrote:This is what you are concerned with OP? An intern in a group’s hand sign? Trump makes the okay sign ALL THE TIME while making a point. He isn’t doing it because he is sending Alt Right signals. And we aren’t going to start believing your paranoid deluaional BS now.

You are losing it with paranoia.

It's definitely not a new racist symbol. Just an A-OK, right Mr. Baby Boomer?

Nope, definitely not virtue signaling by the country's most prominent racists. I mean, who will be the boogie-man in Richard Spencer's white ethno state if you get rid of brown people?
