So stop the constant whiny.

Hmm! Republicans are not whining about this - they are deporting people who are here illegally and further restricting immigration.

It is the Democrats and the Hispanic lobby who are forever whining about something needing to be done.

Deportations are way down under Trump. There were more deportations under Obama. Does that make you cheer for Obama?

My husband works for DHS/ICE for 20 years so he has the deportation # of illegals under Obama. Obama lied the #.
I oppose amnesty or any type of legalization. Don’t believe in giving rewards for bad behavior. I immigrated legally in 1990s and have been a great citizen. In 2013, there were 4.4 million people waiting for their immigrant visas around the world. It is not fair for these people who paid processing fees and waiting for their visas.

Then you should be demanding the R party go after the employers that hire the illegal immigrants because that is why they come here; they know that American businesses will hire them. But, you won't because it's much easier to go after poor brown people than rich white people.

--signed a naturalized citizen who immigrated here legally as a child with a DH naturalized citizen who also came here legally and went through the proper channels.

I think the problem is with both sides: those who countenance illegal immigration whether through advocating open borders or amnesty and those who support businesses that want cheap labor.

I just don't understand why people who enter this country illegally should enjoy any support: they have no standing in the country and should be deported in most instances. When did we reach a point that deporting those who are in the country illegally have some sort of right to be granted legal status? It really is absurd.

And, there is no need for any changes to our existing legislation: "comprehensive immigration reform" is code for amnesty in some form with purported additional border safeguards. The latter will not happen as we saw after the 1986 amnesty and we will be creating the environment for more people to enter illegally in the hope that they will receive amnesty.

A border wall and extreme vetting are good starts.

Why do you need a border wall dumbass.. just make e-verification mandatory? Corporations and small business should not be allowed to hire illegals and should be fined if they do. That will have a bigger impact than a physical wall.

So fix it the way you want it and stop posting and complaining about it!

Anything that is not getting done is your fault, Republicans. Do SOMETHING.

I guess for some reason Democrats failed to get us to single-payer healthcare or pass any gun-control laws. Don't be an idiot, OP.

The Dems did pass the biggest health care reform(Obama care) and some gun laws. Why don't you look it up before you post your crap.

And BTW you will find the below article very interesting and relevant given the latest mass shooting.

Oh boy. Do I really have to explain the difference between single-payer and how it relates to present-day ACA? There's no point in being factual, if your facts are not what's being discussed by your opponent. Whether you're committed to this logical fallacy or simply default to it for lack of better response, I'm not interested.

Again dumbass. Dems wanted to make health care reform and they did do the biggest healthcare overhaul we have seen. (We don't know if they wanted to pursue single payer system but we do know that they wanted to reform health care, it's also a different argument whether it is a success or a failure).

Republicans want to reform immigration and they have not done anything so far.

Why do you not get this analogy?
