That is 14 years in. Did the max 100 percent equites in a place with a 8 percent match would be at 900k

43, with $415K in my TSP and another $155K in a Roth ($570k total).

I should also have a pension of at least $65k a year.

I feel pretty good about things. I won't be retiring early, but based on all the retirement calculators I'm in good shape.

40 fed: just hit $200k in 401k. feel very behind, thankfully DH started maxing out early and is around $650 or more. haven't checked lately.

33/34. About 600K combined. Obviously there's a huge response bias to people willing to answer this question. Ours is a combination of fairly good paying jobs, starting the second we were out of college, and getting to maxing out fairly quickly with a good employer match.

DH just started a new job with no match, but they pay 100% of our health insurance premiums, so it is basically a wash other than the tax advantaged space we can't access.
