Found 9th grader has been copying math homework

You are a fraud. Your life started with a lie. You really were not first in your class. And you hurt the person who really was first. And you may have taken that competitive college spot from someone who did their own work.

Pretty sure the results would be the same, I just had more free time because I didn't worry about busy work. I did very well on tests, projects and papers by myself. Most of the kids in the top of the class copied off each other...

Just a lame justification for cheating. And no, not everyone cheated. But it sounds like the whole "top of the class" was a bunch of cheaters. What school?

This is cheating. I'd be so disappointed in my kid.I wouldn't even know where to start. And then I'd:
Punish. One week coming home immediately after school and doing homework. No going out, nothing other than obligations to sports team and lessons I'm paying for. If she current have too much homework, she can goddamn stay in the house and do homework. No going out that first weekend. No.ipad, computer, tv time. Again, she has too much homework, no time for that.
And for several weeks after, even though she could go out on.the weekend, she'd be doing homework at kitchen table and I'd be checking it to maker sure it's done. Also, pulling Bs is no longer acceptable. She can pull As in math.
Period.
End of story. This is cheating.
