Georgia Tech (OOS) or UVA (in-state) for Aerospace Engineering? Need to decide by April 30th. TIA

I think down the road my son will be choosing between UMDCP and Georgia Tech.
His dream is also Aerospace Engineering. Given that I am GaTech graduate and College Park is 10th in Aerospace and in state for us, I bet we will be torn similarly like you are.
However, I am afraid College Park will win, since we will have 3 kids in college at the same time...

What did you choose, OP?

PP make sure that UMCP's aero engineering isn't still a squabbling mess of professors before DS chooses it.
It's probably gotten better and it was mostly bad for grad school but check it out first.

Joke post? I'm a UVa grad and if the major is aerospace there is no question your DC should chose GT.

Uh oh. Too late to chime in now. OP has already decided...

Pretty crappy of OP not to update. There were many sincere posters.

Not crappy. I got tired of people like you calling others names, and tired also of those who clearly have never been to UVA ("lemmings" "forced into" "non-worldly"), but for some reason see a need to bash.

Have fun at UVA! It's a great school!
