She does wear Gap. http://nymag.com/thecut/2009/08/michelle_obama_wears_gap_and_j.html |

And then you'd be all over her complaining that she dresses too casually for her position. ![]() |
I don't find Melania's pics or actions especially troubling or offensive. She did what she had to do to get where she wanted to go. I do, however, think that Donald's 'trading up' behavior reflects his overwhelming arrogance and contempt for women. But much as I despise Trump, Cruz is worse. Oily little bastard. |
Trump threatened to "spill the beans" about Heidi ..........
Just a prelude to what he will do with Hillary and Bill if they are both the nominees for their respective parties. |
I pretty sure I said buy or borrow gowns for formal.occasions. I am talking about the 500 casual sneakers when making sandwiches for charity 5000 dressed for getting off a.plane. I'm not sure when the expectation that first ladies dress like or better than movie stars came about but its kind of gross . I figure Melania would perpetuate that just as Michelle O has -and will when they leave the white house. I dont forsee much downtime with the community, lots of living and traveling like.rock stars. |
Hillary and Bill are both in the same party. The beans were spilled over a decade ago. The American people are sick and tired of hearing about the Clinton's damn beans (with apologies to Bernie). |
And btw I'm on a road trip and have driven through communities that time forgot. Ramshackle habitats and people foraging for old tin and junk
yes, I would find a.first lady who could put together a traveling outfit or charity outfit from jc penneys pretty refreshing. |
I could care less. So long as they're not Imelda Marcus, buying shoes off the taxpayer's dime. I have no doubt they're gifted or loaned many things in order to showcase the work of a particular designer. Plus, holy crap, look at the criticism and BS a woman in office has to put up with wrt what she wears and how she presents herself in and out of clothing. For god's sake, back off. This is so flippin' stupid. Can't you distract yourself with something else, like, maybe collecting food donations for your local food bank? Surely you must have something better to do than to monitor the clothing of one specific target of your hatred. How glad I am not to live a life in the public eye. |
I think the difference here is that the pix are public, splashed on a national magazine. Whatever Heidi is hiding is probably private. And mental health issues and nude modeling are not in the same league. |
+1 |
Oh, please. What kind of "beans" he has on anyone? And who is he to throw stones? He cheated on his previous wife, had multiple affairs and then got married to a woman 25 years younger than him. Come on, people. This character is your role model? He's as shallow as it gets. |
I don't know how it will sell with the American people but it will be painful for the Clintons as evidenced by the speed with which they dropped any reference to Trump's "penchant for sexism" after he referenced Bill Clinton's own less than savory record with women. I fully expect him to parade women who claim to have been assaulted or harassed by BC, to offer their version of what happened and Hillary Clinton's role in dealing with the "bimbo eruptions". You are right that many are aware of the history but there is an entire generation of millenials who don't know the details - the Bernie voters - and it will not cause them to vote for Trump but they may be less inclined to vote for Hillary once they hear these details which by today's standards would be untenable for any politician. As it is they are not enthused about Hillary. The history - proven, alleged and just rumor - is fertile ground for someone like Trump who will not hesitate to surface every detail. A Cruz or Kasich will not bring it up - Trump will have no compunction doing so. It will dominate the news cycle with every salacious tit-bit. |
Not my role model ....... I would never vote for him. But, seriously, you think he is the least bothered by his own history? He will acknowledge it, brag about it and tell the world that he has been with some of the most beautiful women in the world. Perhaps he will compare the women he has been with to those that Bill Clinton bedded - and let's be honest, BC's taste in women when it comes to looks is not exactly discerning. |
Heidi Nelson had a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Claremont McKenna College with study abroad at the University of Strasbourg, a Masters of European Business from Université Libre de Bruxelles in Brussels, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She worked on Bush for President campaign, the as a deputy to U.S. Trade Rep. Robert Zoellick, focusing on economic policy, and then as the director for the Western Hemisphere on the National Security Council under National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice. Then she sacrificed her career by marrying Ted Cruz and moving to Texas. Ted attributed her depression to the adjustment of moving to a new state. |
