+1. Of course all the JLM pearl clutchers could not see that DME was drinking their milkshakes during the last boundary change. Instead of leaning forward and going on the offensive by actually asking for their boundaries to shrink, they fought the last war instead. The result is overcrowded, too large elementary schools. And a continued free flow of OOB kids from Eaton and Hearst to Deal and Wilson to ensure overcrowding there too. Nice job JLM parents! |
Except for the silly and unnecessary "pearl clutchers" (and the fact that Eaton now feeds to Hardy, not to Deal) this analysis is correct. Ward 3 school boundaries need to be adjusted to alleviate overcrowding and close off the large OOB pipeline that continues to expand the enrollment of overcrowded Deal and Wilson while IB demand is also increasing. |
