I am watching the Talking Dead show now, and Glenn will be back on the show or parts of Glenn in some "version."

How would he be alive with his eyes open watching his guts ripped out and eaten? I think it was Nicholas on top of him. It hasn't been determined that he is dead.

That's the analysis of the bloggers. Also, maybe it's wishful thinking but main characters rarely die without meaing, and that death was pretty meaningless. So here's hoping. I feel like TWD did this on other time - it looks 100% certain someone died and they didn't. I mean, if Glenn is dead, Maggie won't last.

It wasn't meaningless at all. It huge in a thematic sense. Glenn was always so loyal and forgiving, and willing to put himself in harms way to save others. It's that nature that led him to give Nicolas a second chance, a decision that led pretty directly to his death. It's a big reminder of how brutal this world is, that your kindness will kill you.

When Glenn and Rick first meet, Rick is trapped inside a tank, with little hope of rescue. Glenn comes on over the radio. In this episode, Rick is stuck inside an RV and tries to reach Glenn, but he doesn't answer. Anyone notice that?

I'm sooooo bummed, but trying to keep a glimmer of hope that GGlen snuck under the dumpster while the walkers continued to chow down on Nicholas. Or something...

There is precedent for walker blood concealing you from walkers. If Glen stopped screaming or moving and was covered in enough gore that could camouflage him. That's what I'm hoping for. And that Nicholas killed himself kind of knowing that that might be Glens only chance...why he said thank you...atonement perhaps?

Or maybe wishful thinking I'm so devastated.

Where would the walker blood come from? If Glenn's under Nicolas while he's being dismembered, Glenn's going to be completely saturated with human blood, not walker blood.

Walkers are pretty drippy...they're not in great shape...even brief encounters with them tend to get some blood and guts on people. If you look at how they fell most of Glenn should be covered. I think they used dead bodies as cover before at one point but I can't remember exactly. If Glen could kill one walker to lie over his face he'd be ok
