What's the most amazing concert you ever saw?

I saw one of the Born in the USA shows at the Cap Centre. The opening act was also Bruce--he played 2 hours, then an intermission, then another 2 and a quarter hours. Nothing else like it.

+1 for Bruce at the Cap Centre.

Yuck (Before they split up) in San Diego, CA

I consider myself to be a quite hip 22 yr. old and I have never even heard of these bands/groups.

I bet they don't even exist you Troll.

You call yourself hip and you don't know Arctic Monkeys?

I am in unhip 50 yr old and even I have heard of Foster the People and Article Monkeys. I even have a Foster the People song on my Iphone.

I was about to type the exact same thing (except I don't have an iPhone; I still use blackberry). Foster the People has even played SNL, for crying out loud.

+2, but I'm 45. Also, Fitz and the Tantrums.

+1 I remember standing in a l-o-n-g line for tickets over at Fair Oaks mall to see Bruce's Born in the USA concert. Excellent, excellent show.

+2, except I saw his Born in the USA concert up in Philly. Amazing is an overused word, but it fits here.

Radiohead Alpine Valley 2003
The Shins Chicago 2005

I was at Radiohead Alpine Valley in 2003!

I saw a bunch of crazy shows in Chicago from 2002-2008. Including a Pelican show in an abandoned bowling alley.

Depeche Mode every time. Only regret is not seeing them when Alan Wilder was still in the band.

Big venues pretty much suck, but I was 21 at the time and seeing 40k people at Alpine Valley from the top of the hill was pretty incredible. Fall down that hill walking down and you're not stopping for a long time, almost like old Comiskey Park in the upper level.

2003 was the last year for me Radiohead really meant a lot. They still had their guitar influences but were obviously fully embracing their electronic sound. You and Whose Army and Kid A were my highlights from the night.

I think I had 20 or so different friends drive from MI to attend that concert.

Who doesn't even know who Disclosure is these days?? They are one of my faves!

The Article Monkeys?? Yep...That one is surely made up by a troll, but I do like the ARCTIC Monkeys...They rock.

Yuck is a great band, I wish they would get their act together and get back together.

Foster the People sings what I call the "Columbine Theme Song" ("All the other kids, with the pumped up kicks, you better run, better run, outrun my gun/All the other kids, with the pumped up kicks, you better run, better run, faster than my bullet.")
