Beyonce's sister Solange assaults Jay-Z

Meh. I come from a family where this kind of violence is normal, run of the mill shit. It makes sense to me that Jay-Z and Bey are neutrally responding they are aware of the elevator camera filming. The family probably participates in violent craziness in the privacy of their home.

I suspect Solange is not well -- mentally -- and Beyonce and Jay-Z are used to this. Unfortunately, they were caught on tape but there may have been prior episodes like this. Same here. The arguments that Solange is somehow defending Beyonce are BS - as if Solange going off on Jay Z would have any influence on his behavior at all. In private, my father would go into violent rages similar to what Solange's but in public he was Mr. Charming. I have no idea what's going on between JayZ and Beyonce (and don't care) but Solange has significant mental health issues. She should be arrested for assault.

Why are you being so overly harsh? You don't know these people and neither do we. All families, including celebrities, have family members with issues. We are not going to be privy to all the problems they are going through privately. Why would you think you would hear of any of this type of information? Everyone's life is not made for "reality shows", even celebrities.

This is black and white to me. Solange is a terrible drunk; Bey and Jay know this about her which is why they dont engage. They have seen her get violent, and the bodyguard hold her back 100 times. Earlier in the evening, Jay said something to Solange to piss her off, something that clearly hit a nerve and is a sore spot for her, and she flipped. End of story.
