Why do Ayn Rand's book suck?

The level of financial naivete contained in just this short little comment is awe-inspiring. Most likely a rube, but there's a possibility PP is one of the hucksters selling gold to the slack-jawed imbeciles who buy Glen Beck books.

Clintons great bubble was the dot com collapse that killed everybodys retirement and left bush with a recession and terrorist debacle which is at the root of the easy money strategy. Easy money to reflate the economy and prevent a crisis of confidence with the trade centers destroyed and god knows what else. Could u imagine if the Capitol had been hit? I'm suprised the terrorists didn't use the national airport plane to hit the Capitol instead of the Boston plane. All of this can be traced to 911 and the 1992 recession. The terrorists will probably win in the end, they are tougher and more patient than we are.

What is this. I don't even...

It's what's known as "brain rot." Kind of reminds me of Bob Odenkirk's "Manson" impersonation on the old Ben Stiller Show:

My English teacher in 10th grade was an avid Ayn Rand fan. However, she was also a very bad teacher.

To get back at her, one of my classmates wrote a letter and sent it from another city, inviting her to speak at an Ayn Rand Conference. Of course, when she went, nobody was there. Hilarious at the time. She eventually found out and he got detention.

My teacher was in the NEA. Obviously, she was substandard. I don't think she had any idea who Ayn Rand was.

What does one have to do with the other?

You sound a bit "substandard" to me.

Membership in a union does not make you unintelligent. In lots of places, you have to be in it in order to have a job in the first place.

You have finally jumped the shark on your union rants. You undermine your position with stupid comments like that. If you want to be the crazy old man that writes the nutty rants to the local newspaper, the one everybody else laughs at, that's fine. You are free to be that guy. If you want to debate politics, you have to show some self-respect.

I think I am the only one on here who has admitted to being an old man (older than most of you, anyway). You can call me Old Takoma. But I am not responsible for the anti-union or anti-Obama rants. I picture the ranter as too young to have learned tolerance. Perhaps he or she (or they) will enlighten us on which stereotype is closer to the truth.

After doing a little research on Ayn Rand, I can't help but wonder what kind of driver she was.

She looks a bit like Dr. Ruth, no?

Someone needs to brew a local bourbon whisky and call it "Old Takoma". I'd drink it.

A more generous person might have chosen this earlier photo:

Union = substandard + overpriced. Everybody knows that. some refuse to admit it, but if they opened up their checkbooks u would find they avoid union products and services. Kinda like how liberal white people yell "racism" and avoid p g county like the plague.... wink, wink.

And just as much like how we all put salt on our bicycles.
