Just to clarify, I happen to be taking them to a matinee... WITH my husband and a couple of other family members. Not that that really has anything to do with this discussion. I've taken them to evening performances in the past, and, again, they've done just fine.

Then you're a bald faced liar. You posted that the performance started at 7:30 pm.

Before you start accusing someone of lying, you should read the thread. Or maybe the thread is too complicated for you to follow. Another poster assumed OP was going to the 7:30 performance and accused her of keeping her kids out too late.
