I have not seen Avatar and have no plans to do so.

I rarely check my cell phone and think its obnoxious that people expect me to be connected 24-7. Texting is not instant if the recipient isn't staring at their phone. I can go for days without checking the voicemail. Anyone that knows me should know to call my home number.

I hated Lord of the Rings. I feel like I wasted hours of my life watching the first two movies (not sure why I let myself get suckered to watch the second one).

I am 100% with you, though I'm not sure this is an Elaine thing. I don't see how anyone except those obnoxious bikers can fail to appreciate how annoying this is. As you noted, there is a bike path right on the other side of the creek!! It takes everything in me not to scream that out the window to them.

Also agree with the many Renee Z-haters. She may have once been pretty, but she either hasn't aged well or has had really bad plastic surgery. The depressing part is that people are always telling me I look like her--ugh! Also agree about Harry Potter (formulaic and boring), fancy cupcakes (prefer my own made from a mix), and jam bands (will this song ever end?).

I think Sean Penn is not a good actor. But I think I am really alone on that. So may be I just don't like his acting? He is in very good movies though.

I don't understand why athletes, singers and actors are considered "successful." I mean, yeah, it's better than welfare, but I don't really see the point.

I think Jon Stewart & Colbert shows are idiotic.
