Things I Don't Feel Guilty About But Should....

I really don't see how all these dog advocates consider what OP is doing as cruel. It's better than being crated all day while your owners are at work. It sounds like the dog is pretty content otherwise she'd probably hear about it right?

When I do laundry, if dirty clothes are not in the hamper, they don't get washed. I see the pile of clothes NEXT to the hamper, but if they aren't IN the hamper, DH is out of luck and they aren't getting cleaned. I'm just sooo sick of picking up after him. Seriously, the hamper is INCHES from where he dumps his clothes. There is no excuse.

I agree. Our dog sleeps all day in the house wherever it wants and sometimes in the basement where guess what? It is cold and there is no food or water. The dog actually has to come upstairs if it wants water and while I don't like the idea of crating guess what? We used to do it and the dog liked it and slept there too, it was its den. We are the leaders of the pack, affection is earned and guess what? the dog likes it that way! IT IS A DOG AND SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE A DOG - THEY ACTUALLY LIKE IT

Dinner with 16-month DS is always a little bit of a debacle. When I know he's in a bad mood, I sometimes just give him baby oatmeal with some Greek yogurt. It's the one thing he will eat with no fuss. I know he should really be eating real oatmeal now (and probably not oatmeal for dinner), but sometimes I'm just too tired to get him to eat real people food.

You don't have to feel guilty about this whatsoever. Why are they so clueless?

3 yo DD goes to preschool 5 days a week from 9am-3pm and I stay at home. I love it.

FWIW, when we put her in the preschool, I was unsure of my job situation so we figured it was safest to take the full day spot when it was offered, AND she loves school

I check to see if random people have facebook pages even though I don't intend to friend them. I look on linkedin to see what schools random colleagues and associates went to and to guesstimate their ages. I'm overly curious about people. It's not my business but if it's out there and I am bored I will look for it.

This is ME! I'm so glad I'm not alone.

I lie to dh about what things cost that I have bought. He thinks the Pottery Barn lounge that I bought for dd came from Target for 100 dollars. Of course it cost much more than that, but I work and I bought it myself with my own money (we have seperate accounts). I just don't want to hear him b*tch about how much money I spent. It is none of his business!

My husband wears about a zillion t-shirts every week, and he always pull them off inside-out over his head and throws them in the hamper like that. Turning them all back inside-in when I'm folding the laundry is a PITA. I informed him that however they end up in the hamper is how they will be folded and put away. He complained a bit at first, but apparently it didn't matter enough for him to change his ways!

That's us and socks. Why is it so hard to pull them off from the toe, instead of from the cuff, leaving them right-side-out? I have stopped fixing his socks. I still mate them, though. If I didn't he would just pick any two close-enough colored ones, and walk around all day two different patterns.

My husband has a problem with rolled up shirt sleeves. He is capable of rolling all of his cuffs UP, but incapable of rolling them DOWN before laundry. And he shares the sock problem that PP DHs have as well.

My DS has been home sick all week. He feels better when the motrin kicks in, so I went to blockbuster and he is playing a new Wii game. When I work from home I do "home stuff" like laundry and dishes.
