Exactly. Watch the video. There was nothing in this man's hands. Five or six ICE goons had him on the ground and were pummeling him senseless. And then they mag dumped on him, with one goon literally clapping in enthusiasm. It was an execution. Republicans are creating a very volatile country. ICE are no different than Banana Republic death squads. |

Walz needs to call in Minnesota national guard to protect the citizens and aid real police against the ICE goons. This is too much. Kidnapping 5 yo and 2 yo citizens into detention centers hundreds of miles away?
Three shootings in 3 weeks? Two execution-style deaths? Attempting to block emt and police from scenes? Enough is enough. |
I’m actually the OP and I’m not making it up. I got that from the live feed on the Minnesota star tribune page. They have reporters on the scene so that’s who I’m personally following to get updates. “Department of Homeland Security officials said the man fatally shot by federal agents this morning in south Minneapolis was armed with a gun and two magazines. The agency has not publicly identified the man or released details about what led up to the shooting, including how agents came into contact with him or what actions preceded the use of force. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said the man has died. A video shows agents were wrestling with man moments before the shooting.” |
| Businesses in Minnesota that fly the American flag need to start hanging the flag upside down. Hang the American flag upside down. We are there. |
Send a link to the shooting and state very clearly that this is not violence by a protester. |
Add to the list: attempting to stop local authorities from securing and investigating the crime scene. |
Here is a video out there, I don’t know how to link from threads, but the engagement starts with him simply filming. That’s it. This is another murder. |
| There is nothing in the victims hands in the video |
This isn’t the 1700s. The opponent isn’t a bunch of conscripts with muskets. They have immense firepower, and sophisticated modern apparatus. Warfare has gotten a lot more asymmetrical. Sure, you might take out an agent or two in a local skirmish, but Trump is just itching for an excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act and unleash the full might of the US military onto our communities. I personally don’t like those odds. If we think ICE is bad, wait till there are tanks and drones in the streets and the borders are closed. I’d like to believe that the military would uphold the Constitution and not obey illegal orders to shoot American citizens, but I seriously doubt it. Hegseth has been purging the ranks of everyone who isn’t mindlessly loyal to Trump. I’m not advocating that we all surrender quietly to this madness and not push back, I’m just saying it doesn’t lead anyplace good. I’ll never forgive the voters who unthinkingly handed the keys to the military over to Trump. We all knew this was coming. |
Wow. I haven’t been able to see the video yet, but this sounds bad. I don’t have X. |
Can you post a link to the live feed? |

"One officer responded mockingly as he walked away, telling them: "Boo hoo." Agents elsewhere shoved a yelling protester into a car." #iceout

One possibility is that the people trashing immigrants and protesters in some threads and the people encouraging violent civilian responses to ICE could be the same people. Maybe the same people want to egg ICE on and to get regular people to give ICE an excuse to star open, all-out massacres. |
