That's because Pelosi was a very effective leader. But both Jeffries and Johnson are weak and inadequate men. Neither have the disposition or the skills to fulfill their Constitutional duties. The House is pathetic because the leaders of both parties are pathetic.

To be fair, the position of House minority leader has very little power...what did Pelosi accomplish while in that role? We'd have to see what Jeffries can do as Speaker before really making that comparison.
