Though I’ve lived within the beltway for over two decades, I identify more with the residents of Greene Co., VA. I cannot understand why any sane person would have willingly voted for Kamala. Her political positions made no sense whatsoever.

And while I find trump crass and vulgar on a personal level, I support most of his administration’s political moves.

My DH can do all of those things. I also have a lot of survival skills that are specific to either the very poor urban environment where I grew up or the places in Appalachia, urban inner cities, and the developing world where I worked in my twenties.

None of this makes anyone superior to others. Hopefully, we work together to ensure everyone’s survival. Some people dig wells, others make sure we’re not getting cholera from them.
