Agree. Really surprised that that Bill Gates guy went so far at Microsoft.

Is this a joke?

How many non college grads do you think make it like Gates?

More and more these days!
Gates
Zuckerberg
Larry Ellison
Richard Branson
Oprah
Rachel Ray
Steve Jobs
Walt Disney
Elizabeth Holmes (almost)

Oprah graduated from Tennessee State University. I have no idea about the others, but that’s a short list PP.

Who would actually want to sacrifice their one life and work for Palantir? The smart college educated are not interested. They want dumb people they can control.

The CEO of Plantir wants these things.

1. Women to never vote again.
2. Women to not have the right to incitiate divorce
3. Men "head of households"
4. No more property ownership for women or bank accounts.

Shall I continue.

Oh wait you idiots did not read Project 2025 and or know that this jerk and Peter Theil have been planning for your DD's. Marriage at any age is also in their plan. Multiple wives any age in their plan.....

God MAGA is so dumb.

Alex Karp is the CEO. He co-founded the company with Peter Thiel. Strangely enough, he was a major Hillary and Biden donor.

Not according to this article. They hire lots of Stanford grads.

Karp is not MAGA, neither is Thiel. They are both hard core libertarian and MAGA is easier for them to manipulate.

MAGA is selfish grifter with an insane religious justification. That's Peter Thiel, who gives lectures about government regulation being "Antichrist"

Enterprise Rent-a-Car has been hiring non-college educated people for decades.

The lack of a degree will hurt future income and future job prospects.

Having an extra $300K in the bank, and professional experience, vs a new college grad, is a big advantage.

More than half of Americans go through life just fine without college. I’m glad I went because of the awesome nightlife and a few of the classes but with the internet anyone can get an education on their own.

"Just fine", not really. The poorest Americans are also the least educated. Correlaton is not causation though.

For everyone else, not a good idea.

As long as you keep track of how long your AP and SAT scores are valid and take some evening CC, working for a few years before college is not a bad path for some kids. Especially, if they are in CA. They can CC classes over several years and then go get a four year degree in only two years. They can do SJSU if they want to stay in the Bay Area near tech firms. They can go part time and keep working or they may be able to get a part time work assignment.

If they make enough to pay rent in the Bay Area but continue living with their parents, they can save a lot.
