OP, I can relate. I don’t like to vote one party. However, the past year had proved that any republican can be easily manipulated by Trump and used for ill.
Until the Republican Party grows a backbone and smacks maga back into place, we have to vote democrat. |
What Jay Jones said, beyond being correct, if clumsily stated, pales in comparison to what Republicans nationwide have already deemed acceptable for our leaders. Their faux outrage is obnoxious. And Miyares is evil — we need to end his political ambitions now. |
Miyares isn’t a decent person. |
+1 Rs don’t stand up to Trump. We are voting straight D to protect VA. |
|
If it weren't for the outrage I feel at MAGA, I would not have voted for Jay Jones. But I did vote for Jones.
MAGA is not just harming the United States, but is specifically targeting the DC Metro Area and Northern Virginia for destruction. You can see it in the latest state GDP numbers. How could I vote for anyone who supports this? I am willing to vote for flawed candidates like Jones because it's important to me to show the Republicans that their current governance style is unacceptable. |

Dem governor and lieutenant governor
Republican attorney general. Not for what Jay Jones texted but for his whataboutism. |
How is Jones going to fix the GDP? Be specific. |
| If we were in normal times, I’d agree. But I’m voting all blue because anything GOP is going to slide us further into authoritarianism |
| It’s funny y’all think that it’s only the GOP that is moving the country towards authoritarianism. |
Republicans will say the most nonsensical things to divert attention from their actions. |
You go right ahead keeping your blinders on and living in your echo chamber. |
Not PP but states that have sued the Trump administration have received billions back in canceled federal funding. That means jobs. |
+1 |
| The republicans appear to have crashed the Virginia economy but good luck with that OP |
Federal funding for education? At best, that would hire additional government workers, which does not contribute to the GDP. Government funding government is not an economy. |
