Did he obtain work authorization? |
I'm not familiar with FCPS system, but if it is just submitting fingerprints to the FBI, all that's doing is checking to see if the fingerprints match any fingerprints taken during previous criminal activity. Legal status is NOT reported during such a check, unless the person has been charged and fingerprinted for that before. Do these workers you mention not have to show a passport or birth certificate to begin work? That is what one would typically present as proof of citizenship. It's been a few years since I have started a new job, but I seem to remember that being a requirement for several of my previous jobs. |

You keep trying to claim, year after year,
“oh, illegal aliens? Why no; I’m sure they never, ever illegally register and vote in U.S. elections. Noooooo.” (wink wink, nudge nudge). Looks like you were wrong all along. Many of them unlawfully register, just like this guy did. Hope there is a nationwide audit in the wake of this. |

My district (not FCPS) requires new hires to show state ID and the SS card which sometimes can say “valid for work with DHS authorization”. If it says that, then proof of such authorization is requested. Visa status doesn’t come up on Livescan BG check.
I can easily see HR ppl not wanting to ask for proof of work authorization because a candidate is black and hints at racist treatment. Nobody wants to be called a racist. |
To add, if someone is hired and then their work authorization expires, I can see how it can just slip through the cracks. My child was missing a mandatory vaccination and I’ve been asked to provide proof but then no one followed up. I can see how HR was intimidated by a super missing a paper or two. |

| My school system requires fingerprints. |
That does nothing to prove citizenship. After this crazy fiasco, hopefully school systems will start to check their employees. And not just the higher ups. |
Fingerprints can be run through national databases like the FBI's Next Generation Identification (NGI) system to check for criminal records and for civil purposes, but this access is limited to authorized law enforcement and government agencies for criminal justice, immigration, and employment background checks. While these systems provide extensive databases of criminal and civilian prints, it's important to understand they are not a single "national database," and data can be incomplete. |
That’s right, lock this guy up! https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1295236.page;jsessionid=6B1961F9AAE998C4F38ED71C36BE8249 |
| By this logic, Elon Musk and Melania need to be detained and sent back as well. |

More information coming to light:
A school employee in Baltimore filed a complaint against him due to being pressured into giving kids higher grades that were not deserved when he was principal of a charter school in Baltimore. Unfortunately, the statute of limitations had run out and charges were dropped. https://www.baltimoresun.com/2025/10/02/principal-faces-legal-action/ |
