All we are talking about is who has security teams, so it is about security. And they have it. In place. Right now. I live there too. |
OMG just stop. Noone normal (e.g. not inclding foreign or domestic govt officials) who lives in Palisades, Kent, Wesley Heights, Berkeley, etc… has a security team. It’s just not a thing for normal rich people. Stop with the bs. |
Define “normal” rich people. Are you discounting the billionaires and near billionaires? I am not talking Big Law partners or even private equity people who recently built $20 million dollar homes. I would give the addresses but of course can’t. There are many people in those very areas that have security teams who are not in government or foreign officials. You clearly are not aware. Why would I make it up and why would you doubt? |
| And clearly the security teams are good because Trixie Knowitall isn’t even aware of them! |
| NP. Does the security service in Phillips Park count? How about the live ins at a couple of homes in that vicinity you wouldn’t know were ex-Secret Service unless you visited? Is this just parked in front 24-7 types? Drive through on one of the main roads and you will see a security truck outside of their gate right now. |
Because I live here! I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. My kids went to area private schools, our church is in Georgetown, we belong to various clubs, and I know to s if people. Private Secuirty is NOT a common thing in these neighborhoods. Of course there are a few outlier, as with anything, but it’s very uncommon and not normal. Stop trying to make it seem common. |
Everyone knows where the houses you are talking about are. But they are outliers. Not common. |
It sounds like the property is currently under construction and a single security officer was guarding the construction site for the house owned by the LLC. This is actually quite common with larger commercial builds and legit mansions. Construction sites are a magnet for thieves - steal copper and raw metals, tools, expensive marble, appliances, etc. The LLC is used when the owners are worried about liability. If they own a business and get sued & lose, the separate LLC for the house means the house can't get seized to pay off business-related liabilities. |
you mean that monstrosity on 44th place? |
|
You are a dingbat. Total utter fool. There are not tons of houses with security but there are enough to say it’s around. You keep changing definitions to try to not sound stupid but the reality is that security is around and it’s more than 1, 5 or even 10 houses. Shut up. Admit you are wrong and go away. |
Maybe. |
Stop changing definitions. If you have live here for 20 years you would know what’s changed. SPECIFICALLY. Instead you use generalities bc I submit YOU HAVE NO ClUE. |
“dingbat” “shut up and go away” How old are you? You are making no sense (“changing definitions” about what?) and are weirdly desperate to seem relevant. Clearly you have some odd agenda and are not from the area under discussion. |
ex carlyle guy built that place |
