Your coworkers are judging you. Now you know!

Only sad old crones like you. Judge away! 🤣

No. Please google and educate yourself about how gen z feel about feet. Ever heard the phrase "no free feet"?

DP but in the same way I don't GAF how the old cronies don't feel about my feet, i also don't GAF about how gen Z feels about anything really.

I’m a millennial who also things you should put those toes away. What now? Opinion doesn’t count unless I’m gen z??

Reading comprehension.....no, your opinion is irrelevant too. In fact, when it comes to my toes, my opinion is the only one that matters.

So odd that people in this thread are reading that a lot of people find feet gross, and gen z finds them sexual, and doubling down on wearing sandals to work. Truly bizarre. Sandals aren't inherently more comfortable than other shoes, and a vast majority of people are judging you for wearing them, so why??

This.

You don’t wear sandals, flip flops, or open-toed shoes to work. Period.

Of course we do. Strivers like you are the wrost.

Not a striver. Just a C suite professional who realizes shoes (like the rest of your appearance) matters if you want to be taken seriously.

If you’re going to wear sandals or open toed pumps, you MUST have painted, properly pedicured toes or everyone will think you’re gross

+1 open toed shoes are a no-go at the office. come on

Another 40 year old here who grew up in tacky Dallas, and would also say no open toed shoes in the summer. Peep toe pumps were okay in 2008, but I would never wear them now because it’s so outdated.

NP. The problem with open-toed sandals is that it has enabled the horrifying rise of the man flip-flop in the office. I never cared before but now I am extremely anti-open-toe across the board. Man flips are why we can’t have nice things.

It depends. Are you a foot model?

When I lived in San Diego, open toed shoes were the norm in our office unless I was meeting with a client. Engineer.

Having to see a bunch of engineer toes is not an argument in favor of open toe.

This is such a dumb question. No, nail polish on fingers or toes is fine. Looking well kept is what matters.

Wearing flip flops is unprofessional. Showing toes in peep toe pumps during the summer is fine if the rest of your outfit is professional. I work in a business formal environment and most of the women - from receptionists to the C-suite - wear open toed shoes
