Trips for band and chorus happen at all elementary schools and continue through high school because they are competing in music festivals. Band and chorus are open to all. Parental choice. Very few people value music education. Priorities.

Yes, there was a drop during the pandemic. But test scores have been increasing since then, or at worse, remained level.

Test scores are not declining. Period.
