Jared Kushner and Rudy Giuliani already have companies ready to mine. They will save a lot of money by using Ukrainian prisoners. That is how Trump negotiated his capitulation to the Russians. Wonder what our other allies are thinking?

What's the solution? We've already poured $200B into Ukraine and they keep losing territory. Europe is doing nothing.

A) keep on doing the same, spend $1T on Ukraine and they lose anyway, except it costs 1M more lives over th next 10 years

B) accept the world as it is, not as you want it to be. Pull funding, which will force a peace deal that might be a bitter pill. Place European troops on a DMZ, so so if Russia attacks again, they will be killing troops from a continent armed with nukes.

What's option C? Full scale assault on Russia to overthrow their govt and force them to relinquish everything they have taken?

There are so, soooop many problems in the US. We cannot be the guarantor of security for the entire continent of Europe while our people are suffering and our roads are falling apart. If Europe wants to protect the Baltics, then let them out European troops on European soil. The US will be there to backstop them from beig overrun.

We have much larger problems now with the militarization of the Pacific and the North Pole. China is busy trying to encircle the US and control all shipping and commerce from Asia to Europe. China is a much bigger threat than Russia that we need to focus on countering. As the war in Ukraine shows, Russia's military is a joke and would get obliterated in an all out war. They have no ability to threaten American soil except for nukes. China can threaten our mainland directly.

Russia was the aggressor. Ukraine owes them nothing.

And if Ukraine is excluded from negotiations, they are not bound or beholden to any so-called "agreement" made. If the "agreement" says that Russia is to withdraw, great. But this nonsense about things like making restitution to Russia is absolute garbage and if I were Zelenskyy I'd be saying "go collect from Trump." If anything, Russia needs to be paying Ukraine reparations. Russia's invasion was unprovoked, illegal and unwarranted.

Ukraine can fight Russia without American taxpayer dollars and American taxpayer funded military arms. Let’s see how long they last.

But Europe as whole? No, freeloading time is over. If you want to be partners instead of lackeys then you should have put your money where your mouth is.

I would have zero problems if they want to step up and be equal partners. As it stands though NATO and the EU have been suckling off the teat of the U.S. since 1945.

Still waiting to see how the supposed “soft power” the U.S. gets from being Europe’s guard dog helps the citizens that are subsidizing their defense so they can have their cushy welfare states and look down at us for being “military obsessed”

Look at that, as soon as Trump scares the crap out of them, European leaders are now discussing a potential agreement to spend $700B on their militaries. In the end, it might have actually worked. Europeans crap on the US for healthcare, education, childcare, etc. Let's see how many wonderful social programs they have left now that they have to spend significant sums on protecting themselves. They'll have to raise taxes so much it'll suffocate everyone, or they'll have to cut social spending if they want to exist.

The war will escalate - it is in trumps best interest. He just needs higher Russian body count. Then negotiate peace.

Are you paying attention? They aren’t hammering out sht. They excluded Ukraine and Europe in the talk. They demanded 50% of Ukraine’s rare earth minerals for no safety guarantee. Wake up
