| Younger the better, knowing your kids are independent and can survive if anything happens to you and being able to have some fun between being parents and becoming elderly with health issues. |
| I think late 50s or 60s. Empty nesting seems quite lonely and I think you want to wait for that transiting after you've kind of tired yourself out and are ready for some relief and an empty/quiet house. 40s you still have too much energy |

| I'll be 46 (next year!). Honestly I am ready. I have no idea how people deal with younger kids and aging and perimenopause. I am going to have to really focus on myself to get through it well because I see what happens if you don't prioritize yourself as you get older. It requires so much time and effort, and I know some are multitaskers, but I am not. |
