I think the real problem is that Kamala Harris is getting dangerously close to pulling ahead in NC. And Republicans assume Robinson is dragging Trump down. They absolutely cannot afford to lose NC.

Spent the weekend in the Hyde/Beaufort counties of NC and was shocked by the lack of Trump signs. Hardly any in the conservative neighborhood where my grandparents live. Totally opposite of before the 2020 election where Trump signs were everywhere and little pop-up tents selling Trump merch were on most corners.

My grandma is supporting Harris/Walz but my grandpa hasn't decided if he'll support them or not vote. He was career military and can't stand Trump. He voted for him in 2016 and voted for Biden in 2020.

I saw more Harris/Walz signs than I expected to see. Same thing on the drive down through Southern VA - not as many Trump signs as I remember seeing in the past.

Trump does nothing for anyone. Why would anyone vote for that loser? GOP...when your candidate loses an election, find a different one for the next election. Come on.

Nope, there is a big difference. I grew up in a religious community in NC. If he admitted to the charge and did some repentance and rebirth mumbo jumbo, rural Nc would let this go. They want abortion out of NC. But he won’t admit he did this. Thus, no repentance here.

Harris isn’t denying former positions. She repenting and explaining why she changed her mind. Not that rural NC will care.
