NP. I hate dill. |
Enjoy! https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/935156.page |
It was a joke based on a thread from awhile ago that got fairly hilarious https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1140100.page |
I LOVE dill, but cooked salmon is the only seafood I won't eat. I like it raw or smoked, but roasted and cooked through I find vile. I would eat the rest of this dinner though and am a "choke it down til you vomit" go along type so I'd swallow the salmon too with a smile, but yah. Cooked salmon is the worst the fish world has to offer. |
NP. I like dill but can't eat salmon. I wouldn't even be able to choke it down. |
NP. You are blowing my mind right now. Salmon is my favorite! I’m surprised you like it raw or smoked but not cooked 🤔 |

Honestly, it depends on who they are, what the season is, etc.
I like to highlight the fruit and veg in season and build the menu from there….or a theme, like a regional Indian menu or Vietnamese menu or whatever |
That poster probably grew up in the tri-state area eating bagels and lox with cream cheese. |
| When I throw big parties, I mostly stick to either a BBQ (if it's a summer party) or Italian food. 2 nice Italian pastas, 1 meat (roast chicken or smoked salmon), 2 nice salads. Most people seem to like Italian. (Most of my guests are white and American, so YMMV) |
NP- I too like it raw or smoked. Cooked salmon is the least tasty way to prepare salmon. |
Are you people really hungry again? But you just ate! I wasn’t planning to serve anything again until we have a little grilled fish and a green bean at 7. |
Grow up. |
I like the smell of dill in chicken soup but wouldn't want to eat it on salmon. |
after my nap |
lol this is my mom. And by "just ate" she means we had a "big brunch" of three bites of scrambled eggs and one sausage link like 5+ hours ago. |
