Well the world is on fire now and Biden did spearhead the crime bill that disproportionately locked Black people in prison, so yes, hopefully she will.

Our country is filled with vitriol and hate. Was it there before Trump? Yes. But not until Trump did we have a president that played on that to make the country more divisive. It is truly despicable.

You are kidding, right? Every R nominee in my lifetime has been subjected to over the top vitriol from the Left. They think they and only they should command and have been doing outlandish things to obtain/maintain power. Dividing is there game. Intersectionality is THEIR thing.

No, the world isn't "on fire" - Putin is falling apart, Iran just elected a reformer, and our partnerships and defensive alliances are strong and growing. Unlike when they were all falling apart under Trump.

Go volunteer to provide aid in the Middle East or Ukraine then if all is well.

Good grief. Rewriting history again.
There was plenty of divisiveness under Obama.

Obama, speaking of the working class:
"They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2008/apr/14/barackobama.uselections2008

There were plenty other moments like this.

Obama just spoke to truths that people don't like admitting out loud.

Obama hates individual rights. He’s a fascist. Gun rights are the first thing attacked by fascists because they need to kill some groups and don’t want to get shot.

Number of guns confiscated from Americans by Obama: 0.

But Pres O sure did get Fast and Furious on his gun play!

Just seems ironic that the party spinning itself as "saving democracy" has moved on to "just vote for our party and we'll let you know who the candidate is later."

Obama is the poison that brought us here.

I remember when a bunch of Dem Senate staffers literally apologized to him at a wedding I attended for having savaged him when they discovered he was a decent person. Old Saul loved the way they had originally demonized him but I don’t think he wrote much about how to treat an actual human being.

He plucked Joe from the end of his miserable career and gave him a second life. Was an awful mistake. Joe’s image was and has always been very far from his reality. Far.

Arrogant. Thin skinned. Unimaginative. Hard to work with. Mean to staff. Etc. the opposite of everything Ron Klain said about him but someone the DC back office guys knew they could handle.

You think President Obama didn’t have buyer’s remorse? I think his “don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to F things up “ quote says it all.

Meanwhile, concurrent to that, rapidly pass bills countering Project 2025 and other Trump agenda items, along with codifying Toe and fixing other SCOTUS rulings.

But Congress should have closed some of the glaring deficiencies in checks on a unscrupulous President when Trump was out: ability to hire family members who could not pass a background check, ability to drive government and foreign business to his family, ability to grant pardons as personal favors/bribes.

I guess the Rs would have blocked any meaningful reform, or this messed up SCOTUS.

He and his family were the most upstanding first family in my lifetime.

That is how objectionable your candidate is.

Dems will lose both the House and the Senate.

Rs will have control of SCOTUS, WH and both the House and the Senate. I predict 380+ electoral votes for Trump.

Get involved in house and Senate races. Trump sucks up the lions share of the GOP money so there is real opportunity in these underfunded races.

Vote for Trump and save our democracy.

I speak to my kids about this race. They are young voters and they have to understand that Jan 6th was completely abnormal and must never happen again. They can't think that is how we do things in America. It is not.

The disaster of overturning roe has also motivated them and locked in their votes for the Dems.

This one, if well enough organized, actually could move the needle. Pick the states that are close, do the math and move. But here you’d really have to organize and it would take thousands moving their primary residence, but it could be done. It would have to be done very soon in order to meet requirements for residency/registration.

How to know that DC people have more money than they should
